WORSHIP AT HOME

You can lead your family in meaningful worship at home, outdoors, or anywhere!

Divine Service 1

  • Start at the top of p. 29 (LINK) or on p. 151 in your LSB home copy.

  • If you want music, navigate to the Liturgy Audio Files here.

  • Use the right-side absolution (bottom of p. 29) instead of the left-side.

  • Skip anything that you don't know what to do.​

  • We don't sing"Gloria in Excelsis" for the Hymn of Praise during these seasons:

    • Advent (December)​

    • Lent (Ash Wed to Easter)

    • During those seasons, sing "This is the Feast" instead.

  • Lookup the Series B (2020-21) assigned readings here by date (from LCMS.org).

    • Or, use the One-Year Lectionary here.

  • Pick one Creed​

  • Lookup the Prayers here.

    • Or, use the One-Year Series Prayers here.​

  • I don't recommend that you do the "SERVICE OF THE SACRAMENT" at home.​

    • (But you can say the Lord's Prayer together)​
